Digital projectors
From Photo-3d
There aren't any current purpose built stereo digital projectors. There are a couple of approaches:
Analglyph
Projecting anaglyphs is a pretty straight forward. Just show the image on the screen and wear matching glasses. Normal full-screen image display ("slide show") programs such as Ifranview or ProShow will work. Even Microsoft PowerPoint could be used.
Twin Polarized Projection
In this approach, two stereo projectors are twinned to produce a cross-polarized image just (same a slide projectors). Certain digital projectors (notably LCD) projectors emit light that is already polarized and so polarizing filters don't have the intended effect. DLP projectors are typically preferred.
If the images are side by side, parallel images, the desktop can be extended and the images show on the full screen. In this mode, the left image will end up on one projector and the right image will end up on the other. Stereo digital movies are typically done in side-by-side mode, too.
On some systems, the "stereo-clone mode" is used. In this mode, both screens show the same thing (and thus the desktop is at the stereo window) and then certain programs (such as Geowall View) can be fed pairs of images and display the left image on the left projector and the right image on the other.
