Stereo window violation

A violation of the stereo window occurs when an object touches the stereo window. This is a problem because the window will cut off more of an object in one eye than the other. Thus you can see parts of the object in stereo and you can see some parts mono (only one eye) .

Some suggested solutions:

  • When shooting a scene, position the camera so that objects don't "touch" the window.
  • After the picture is taken, crop the image to remove objects at the window.
